Anna is a director and writer based in Los Angeles, originally from Minneapolis, Minnesota.

She is currently writing her debut feature film, Dedwith Academy Award-nominated filmmaker Carlos López Estrada. Her directing work includes projects for The New York Times, Gia Coppola Wine, The LA Rams, and a documentary short film for Finnish band Apocalyptica. She co-wrote For Mexico, For All Time, a six-part film narrated by Gael García Bernal, broadcast from the Las Vegas Sphere during Noche UFC, and nominated for six Sports Emmy Awards.

Anna began her career in theater, working with institutions including Theater Latté Da, the Minnesota Orchestra, and the Children's Theatre Company in Minneapolis. She recently directed a site-specific production of Rajiv Joseph's Gruesome Playground Injuries, and assistant directed The Lehman Trilogy at the Guthrie Theater.

 

Anna holds a BA in Theater from Barnard College, Columbia University.​
