Anna is a director and writer based in Los Angeles, originally from Minneapolis, Minnesota.

She is currently writing her debut feature film, Dedwith Academy Award-nominated filmmaker Carlos López Estrada. Her directing work includes projects for The New York Times, Gia Coppola Wine, The LA Rams, and a documentary short film for Finnish band Apocalyptica. She was also a co-writer on the six-part film For Mexico, For All Time, which debuted at the Sphere in Las Vegas as part of Noche UFC, narrated by Gael García Bernal.

Anna began her career in theater, working with institutions including Theater Latté Da, the Minnesota Orchestra, and the Children's Theatre Company in Minneapolis. She recently directed a site-specific independent production of Rajiv Joseph's Gruesome Playground Injuries, and assistant directed The Lehman Trilogy at the Guthrie Theater.

 

Anna holds a BA in Theater from Barnard College, Columbia University.​
